Polished 80’s album
10 new ( at the time) songs by Tom Robinson, if you’re ok with the late 80’s / early 90’s sound this is a gem.
Mostly the songs are about England & it’s bleaker aspect, the tabloids, social issues etc.
Jakko Jacsyk ( later of King Crimson) is the main collaborator on this release plus Gavin Harrison ( Porcupine Tree & King Crimson) & Sam Brown are just some of the musicians featured.
Worth checking out.

Worthwhile reading for spiritual growth
Amazing to think that this book was first published in 1939.
The content is still contemporary & compares well with other “ new age “ modern writers.
Recommended reading for anyone remotely interested in spirituality or yoga.

Great 80's band
Much of EaTB material has been repackaged in various formats : best of's, live tracks, box sets with unreleased tracks etc which makes it confusing for the uninitiated. Also "Siberia" released in the 00's is just as good as these first albums ( and is definitely recommended ).
Hearing the records as they were meant to be puts the bands era in context, there are some tracks that may not be essential but listening to the albums back to back puts the best tracks in a stand out light.
This release is also a bargain for people like me who need to replace lost or damaged vinyl editions.
A tragedy that Pete DeFreitas ( drummer ) died so young, his contribution perhaps overlooked at the time, the band disintegrated after his death although they still carry on with 2 original members, I saw both versions of the band live & I know which I'd prefer.
