NICE LIGHT
1 of 1 found this helpful JUST RECEIVED MY SIGN TODAY, SO MY REVIEW IS LIMITED, BUT THE SOFTWARE DOWNLOADED WELL, AND APPS ALSO DOWNLOADED EASILY FOR PC AND ANDROID PHONE( EXCEPT FOR IPAD, I DONT THINK IT IS MADE FOR IPAD, I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK. AS FAR AS THE WIFI, IT HOOKED UP TO THE PHONE AND /OR PC EASILY AND SENDING MESSAGES WAS FAST AND RELIABLE, THE DIRECTIONS ARE REAL BASIC FOUND ON E BAY PAGE, BUT YOU CAN FUTZ AROUND AND FIGURE IT OUT. I HAVE NOT TRIED THE PROGRAM VIA USB THUMB DRIVE TO SIGN, I ASSUME I HAVE TO HAVE AN EMPTY USB DRIVE, LOAD IT WITH THE PROGRAMING AND STICK IT IN THE SIGN PORT, BUT THE WIFI OPTION SEEMS FASTER AND EASIER FOR ME, I WILL SEE HOW WELL IT WORKS IN DAYLIGHT OUTSIDE, BUT THE LIGHT WAS BRIGHT INSIDE. PACKAGING WAS GOOD, THE CONSTRUCTION LOOKS NICE AND SO FAR VERY HAPPY , DURABILITY , WELL WE WILL SEE IF IT LASTS.

CONS: THE SOFTWARE COULD BE BETTER LAID OUT, I AM NOT VERY "TECHY" SO IT COULD BE VERY EASY FOR SOME PEOPLE, BUT NAVIGATING THE SOFTWARE WILL BE MY NEMESIS.

they do the job
the mats (with trimming a bit on the inside border of each) fit my honda element nicely, they are as some said a bit thin, but flexible and the deep dish holds water etc. if your floor is narrower, these might not be for you, as the trimmable areas are only a couple inches on either side before cutting into the recessed foot area

it does make crepes, but...
given it is 60-70% cheaper than my krampouz, i did not expect the same quality, but found it difficult to maintain temps, the combination of ( no thermostat & thin steel plate vs heavy cast iron) . gets up to temp , then after making a few crepes the temp drops, thin steel can not maintain the heat, then crank up the burner and its too hot, it does the job, but hard to use for higher volumes( food truck) and i also added a grill ignitor myself, otherwise have to use a long skinny butane grill lighter, a basic add on that should be included. so overall it makes the crepes and they turn out just as good as the pricey makers, but only for short periods of time before the thin steel plate cant retain the heat and no thermostat to increase the burner makes higher volumes a pain. the weight is 30% of my french makers which is a plus and having a 3rd maker helped me out for cranking out more crepes, but would i buy another, i think i will stick to the pricey ones, but it does the job, quality if fair, i think $150-200 would be a better price than $300 and it says no returns, so you are stuck with it, which i think i would have returned it if possible.
