super compact and sharp lens, with some compromises
This is a great addition to any fuji camera if you are looking to slim down your camera, it makes my x-t3 much much more compact and lighter weight. Despite the small size, image quality is very good. Lens is not stabilized, so be mindful about slower shutter speeds, 1/30th sec might result in a blurry image in some scenarios.
Pluses:
Very light and compact
Sharp
Focuses pretty fast
Nice 41mm equivalent field of view
Minuses:
No OIS
Slightly noisy autofocus
Not weather-sealed
No aperture ring*
*lens is really too small to fit one, but does have focus ring, I set my front command dial to control aperture, works great.
I'm not sure I would have shelled out $449 for this, but if you can get it for under $300, its a good value.
