Mixed - some lovely 'new' photos - some glaring errors too.

- Why you bought it - it relates to my local line, which I am researching - What you like most about it - the format - 'then and now' type photographs. - What you dislike about it - riddled with inaccuracies - in terms of place names captions which are obviously wrong - make you worry that the text is wrong elsewhere. It looks like it has not been proof-read or edited at all. - Whether or not you would buy the product again - I have others in the series nd was impressed - this has dented that impression - I am now 'lukewarm' about this series - are the others on areas I don't know but am interested in, equally inaccurate ?

Lima Ventilated Van - Accurate scale body

A great way to get an accurate BR 12T Ventilated van body. The chassis is also well-detailed and represents the BR chassis well - albeit the version without tie-bars between the axleboxes. Curiously. Lima modelled it without the vent on the 2 ends, I sourced some from my spares box.

THE reference book for this series of locomotives

Excellent quite simply the only reference book you need for these shunters. This series is excellent - with the other books in the range of a similar stature - with excellent text and close-up detail photographs.
