I was able to complete, the restoration
I was able to complete, the restoration of a beloved FG-180. Not to mention in left hand. I scrubbed the adhesive off one with thinners and applied. One either way left hand, right hand. This guitar was worth saving, Yea! Cheers Tony

I have been suspect of this technology
I never would have bought these coated strings. However after purchasing a second hand guitar, which was fitted with Elixirs. I was so impressed. That now after two years, that guitar was still sounding so good. I now bought them for replacement (As I don't want it to fade) Also I purchased them for my 12 String, Dreadie. now I realise how good they are. The 12 never sounded this good before!, Give them a go! Cheers Pete
