Starbuds Barista makes a good espresso.
I bought one of these Starbucks Barista espresso makers at the local thrift store for $7. It needed a lot of cleaning and descaling but has worked like a champ ever since. I have two of these, one is a copper colored and the white one. Both work just fine after many hundreds of pulls, maybe thousands.
The copper colored one was purchased at a yard sale for $30 and has been in daily use for at least four years making perhaps four espressos per day. I suppose that gets into the thousands of pulls.
There is a learning curve but these are self tamping units meaning you don't have to tamp the ground coffee in the porta filter. I will fill it and then lightly press the grounds below the top of the basket and then when it's turned on to the maker it compresses the grounds automatically.

Cheap fix on Ebay, get one now.
I bought this game as a birthday present for my 12 yr old grandson. He has two sisters aged 7 and 11 and all three kids love the game.
