Definietly impressed for the price
1 of 1 found this helpful Pretty much the same exact headers as Sanderson FF427, but for less than half the cost. The flange is nice and thick and they seem to be pretty well made overall. I do wish the tubes were the next gauge up, but they are not really thin either.
Even though they were not listed to fit, I had no issues with them on a 1975 F100 4x4 except the starter. You will almost certainly need a mini-starter. I used one and there is MAYBE 1/4 inch clearance once installed. I did install the starter afterwards, so changing starters will not be an issue. I had to lift the engine a couple inches to get the passenger side header in place, but if you don't have the factory air conditioning box in the way it might be possible to get it in from the top. Driver side was super easy from the bottom. I did drop the front drive line for extra simplicity, but I am not sure it was necessary.
I used Remflex gaskets instead of the supplied ones, but they were leak free first try. I free ones seem OK compared to other gaskets I have used previously, but my jaded history with leaks led me to spend the extra money and used Remflex gaskets instead. They were leak free first try and I would give equal credit to the these headers and the better quality gaskets.

This is a RUGGED computer. Enough said.
Panasonic Toughbooks take whatever use and sometimes abuse you can throw at them without skipping a beat. This is not my first Toughbook and will certainly not be the last either. And yes, my first and second one still work great- I just keep upgrading (CF-28, CF-29, and now CF-30).
If you work in an environment where your laptop might get banged around, dropped, wet, or the occasional nuclear blast then this machine is the one for you. If you work in a clean, air conditioned office then there are far lighter, cheaper, and prettier options out there.
For those comparing Toughbook models, the CF-30 is well worth the extra money over older models. Just to hit the major highlights: SATA hard drive, dual core processor, and 4GB max memory. By comparison, the CF-29 can only support a maximum memory of 1.5G-2.25 GB (depending on exact model), single core processor, and the PATA drives are not being offered in higher capacities and solid state drives for this older interface are way more expensive per GB.
If you can afford a CF-31, then go for it as it is an even faster and better machine. But if budget is a concern for a truly rugged computer, the CF-30 is the value sweet spot in the Pansonic line right now in my opinion.

Good radiator BUT...
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for a 1975 F100 and it was supposed to be a direct bolt in, but it was not. It wasn't even close to fitting on the front mount, but close on the rear mount. Unfortunately for those of us with factory AC, those mounting holes are already used. I made a 1/4" spacer and used longer bolts to share 1/2 of the mounting holes with the AC. Other than that, it seems to be solidly constructed. Except for the drain valve- mine was bent out of the box and the first time I tried to use it, the handle part snapped off.
