Excellent waterproof temperature sensor
This temperature sensor is surprisingly accurate and very well calibrated.
It is very easy to use in combination with libraries for the arduino for example, but can also be used with a variety of other microcontrollers with ease.
The product is very durable, it is able to sustain high pressure, is very well sealed and will remain waterproof almost no matter what.
The range of temperatures that can be measured with this probe is also very high, -55 to 125°C (-67°F to +257°F), making it an excellent product to measure water temperature in a swimming pool, a water boiler, outdoor temperature and many other varieties. All of that, for a very affordable price!

Cheap DIY kit for electronics enthusiast
2 of 2 found this helpful The kit is very basic and contains the very least of components needed to get this module working.
To keep the cost low, cheap components are used and compromises are made. For example, a diode is used to lower the input voltage to values acceptable by the module. Of course this is a quick, cheap and dirty way to lower the voltage, since the voltage drop of a diode is dependent on the current that is being pulled. For applications with this module, however, it will suffice.
Some minor changes had to be made to make the module more stable, but with a minimum on extra components and some extra soldering on the bottom of the board, the module can be made quite stable. I would suggest taking a look at the data-sheet, every info needed to get a stable module out of this is documented.
All in all, this is a good kit for an electronics enthusiast who's willing to do some extra research and some modding to get a stable module out of this.

Small yet powerfull
This module generates a powerful high voltage, from a simple low current, low voltage DC battery.
The higher the input voltage, the higher the output voltage and thus the spart generated will be. This product is excellent as an ignition source, as a DIY taser, or as a substitute for the high voltage converter of an electric fly swatter.
I personally used this for the latter, as a hobby project. Flies impacted with this high voltage explode immediately, leaving almost no remains, excellent for cleaning up!
The build quality is very good for the low price, and the product feels very sturdy and well-build.
