About
I'm just a collector of junk I never got to buy as a kid. Every once in a while I'll sell something, but usually I'm buying. I've been on eBay since the earliy daze and seen the scene change a lot.

The most unfriendly text book I've ever used!!
Student beware: this is one of the worst text books ever written! It's confusing, boring and hard to follow. The only colors are black, white & orange which make the already difficult illustrations harder to understand. The arrogant author skims over important material and appears to make the assumption that students already know introductory, calc-based physics before taking the introductory, calc-based physics class that this book is allegedly designed for.
I feel deeply sorry for whoever has to buy this book, because that probably means you're taking a class in which the instructor requires it. Take my advice, after buying this book, go find a cheap older edition of University Physics by Young & Freedman. That's the only way I made it through this class. Wolfen's book is good for nothing more than confusing you and getting the homework problems. I had planned to burn this book in a ritualistic, mellodramatic show of hatred for the book when the class ended, but was talked out of it by a friend who convinced me that I could make a few bucks off it and warn unsuspecting students of the peril within. He's the poor sucker that bought the equally terrible Vol. 2 from me.
Good luck, you're gonna need it!
