Refrigerator Light Switch GE WR23X23343 AP5957928 PS10066583

Great price and works great, but note that GE has altered the switch dimensions slightly over the years.

Great price and exactly the switch model number I was looking for, but took one star off because GE has altered their switch slightly. The model number of the new switch is exactly the same as that of the old switch I'm replacing (see the first attached photo - new switch is on the left), but apparently GE has changed the switch dimensions ever so slightly by trimming down the face of the button (see the second attached photo - new switch is on the left). I needed to add a small shim to the face of the new button to get it to work properly in my specific GE refrigerator. The slight thinner new button was preventing the refrigerator light from shutting off when the door was closed and the extra heat in the refrigerator compartment was more than the cooling capacity of the refrigerator could deal with. Taping/gluing a small piece of plastic to the button surface fixed the problem (see third photo - black plastic shim glued to the new switch on the left, old switch on the right) and it now works perfectly.
