Two Ravens and Walking the Good Red Road in a Sacred Manner
Great book, especially if you're interested in the personal experiences of modern indians. Two Ravens was a spiritual advisor to AIM (The American Indian Movement). He was also a personal raised traditionally by his grandfather and other elders. He also wrestled with alcoholism. Additionally he was drafted and sent to Korea and fought in that war. His life story encompasses learning to live on the Red Road and his relationship with Tunkasila or The Great Mystery and stories about his family and others he came to know over the years.
I like to keep extra copies of this book for young men dealing with alcohol addiction, particularly indian men. There's a lot of good words in this book that will help and comfort them.
Towards the back of the book is a wonderful write-up of Two Raven's beliefs concerning the Red Road and this way of life. A very informative and worthwhile read.

Entertaining, amusing, emotionally engaging.
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm a Supernatural fan anyway. Season 5 delivered great characters,interesting and challenging plots and a further opportunity for us to get to know Sam, Dean, Bobby, and Castiel which is why I watch Supernatural.
Owning the series and being able to watch it at my leasure gave me a greater appreciation of how much in the way of great locations, sets, music, script has gone into this series. For example, the individual motels that almost are charactors in themselves in each episode. The great wallpaper, "designer" look each room has, bold choices of paint, cabinets, light fixtures and furniture. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble.
This series is well worth owning and I believe it's the best one yet.

The Power of Myth
2 of 2 found this helpful I am greatly interested in different cultures - how they are formed, their spirituality, etc. Having checked a number of Joseph Campbell's videos out at our local library, I wanted to purchase these dvds and learn what other information Campbell had on the subject of myths. So I am very happy to have my own Campbell series.
