Replaced Map Lights on Dodge Caravan
1 of 1 found this helpful Not as bright as the lamps I was replacing but they worked fine. I used them to replace the map light lamps in my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. I removed the lamp from the map light. I pulled out the glass bulb from the lamp base socket. I straightened the wire on the LED lamps, filed the wedge base a little to fit into the socket and inserted the LED lamp into the base. I used needle nose pliers to pull the LED lamp wires into the vee notch on the metal contacts on the each side of the base base. I inserted the lamp and tested. If they don't light just turn the lamp 180 degrees and reinsert. Remember that LED lamps are polarized so if they don't work when inserted turn them around. You might need to clean any melted residue on the lamp base and socket from the old lamps as they burned very hot charring the socket and base in my van.

Perfect Fit on RG-8X
Good quality product. Nice Nickle plating on the connector body and Gold plating on the pin. I followed the instructions for installing BNC connectors per the Radio Amateur's Handbook (standard clamp) using the cutting/stripping dimensions from the store website. A quality connector for a great price.
