Made of metal - well built and works great.

The tripod adapter built right into the lens allows you to attach large FD lenses (300mm and higher) without having to put all that strain into the camera body (when you use a tripod). Highly recommended and will buy again when I acquire more large FD lenses.

Works great as an audio source selector/switch
No static at all, does not require power. I am using it to switch between audio sources only, so cannot comment on video capability.

Works perfectly
