Sturmey archer solution

I had vintage Holdsworth shop built bike with braze on cable guide wheel on top of seat tube so used 3 speed hub the bar end shifters are the best way of routing the shifter cable for drop handles nice and neat

Early days

I was able to fit ok one rim was narrower and was a struggle got tyre on bead all the way then pushed pins in with flat screwdriver more of a point load rode on them 30 miles single speed bike slightly harsher ride and some drag but not much no punctures despite all the glass in town
