Solid product that needs some graphics tweaking to be more useful
I've always loved Stanley tools quality and craftsmanship. Last tape measure lasted 40 years. Now this one leaves me disappointed with very poorly designed type and graphics that have hard to discern foot mark highlights. Wish it had larger/bold type or arrows or something that denotes each foot. The body is too wide for my liking and takes up too much room in a tool pouch but makes it nice to handle. Perhaps they are thinking it is less likely to tip over in use. I used the belt clip feature, it fell off then toppled off the roof, it survived. Good quality with slightly thicker tape. The photo compares the Stanley (top) with a Pittsburgh brand. Both have 16" (stud) highlights but using different highlight methods. The Pittsburgh foot marking are very easy to notice.
