Great book for begginner sewers.
This is an excellent book for someone starting out in sewing or needs some tips on how to read, layout and tailor patterns as well as what needles and thread to use with what fabric. There's some great projects in it as well. The only thing that was a little confusing was the hand stitching directions.

great movie

Good but not what I was expecting
There were some great bits of info about medieval horses but mostly about horse shoes and shoeing. I think it was worth buying. This book is about the remains they found in medieval period trash dumps in London. It was informative about bits and about old records of horses and how they were used. I'm part of a medieval sort of re-enactment group and am very interested in what the horses were like then and what equipment they used.
