This Book begins to heal the ARROW wound to my heart
First off this book takes one back to the 1950's (I was a young lad then) and shows the need, the development, the technology, the beauty, and the winner the ARROW would have been, if politicians had not meddled. Set in the height of the cold war, with a huge country to defend against imminent attack, plans were set to develop a powerful jet fighter by a capable country, shy of ‘big projects’. During my Air Force years, I was hitch hiking back to a northern base, when an engineer picked me up. Because I was RCAF, he started talking about the ARROW project which he had worked on, ten years earlier. Slowly his conversation steam rolled in immense anger at all who were stupid enough to cancel the ARROW project. Especially, the former Prime Minister John Diefenbaker. I was sure he was going to have a heart attack right there in the car. Since that day, I owed it to the engineer and myself, to find out all I could about the ARROW. I now have the ARROW encyclopedia. All you wanted to know, but were afraid to ask , is in this book, and more. Don’t read – don’t worry – the pictures will keep you busy for months! Enjoy our history, our potential in Arrow Scrapbook by Peter Zuuring. Frank Rioux

Royally Roy O at his finest, with friends to match
Hearing the great songs of Roy Orbison done in a 'jamming' way with new twists from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne, J.D. Souther, Steven Soles k.d. lang, Jennifer Warnes, and Bonnie Rait. The former Elvis Presley back up band 'TCB' - What a banquet for the ears (and eyes with the DVD). I simply love owning a copy of the best concert I've ever heard - Thank you Big O, in the sky! We continue to love you!
