If you think you know Coltrane, check this album out
Whilst I love all music, I don’t know enough about jazz or John Coltrane to do a serious review.
I have many of Coltrane’s other well-known albums, but just through ignorance, had never previously heard of this album. I didn’t even know he had also played soprano saxophone.
But I really like the album, probably because it is surprising.
The title “Sound of Music” track doesn’t especially grab me, but the other tracks do.
I had especially wanted to get this remastered CD version of the album in both mono & stereo.

It’s got “lo fi” sound. It needs bigger, better speakers & more power.
