sturdy and simple to use
2 of 2 found this helpful As a machinist of many years I found the Singer Heavy Duty just what I needed for thicker or more dense fabrics. No more wondering if I'm going to break yet another needle. I have even re-piped a sofa loose cushion. It's just great .

small and compact
I wanted a "bell" sound not tunes, which it has, but unfortunately it is soo quiet. We hear next doors bell more often than our own. But saying all that, the quality is fine for the price.

it did just what i wanted it to
sorry but it wasn't for my skin. I used it to remove "biro" marks off of a plastic dolls body. I read a review and this is what I found , with the help of the sunshine it bleached the pen mark away.
