Upgrade was well worth it!!!
Moved up from my MacBook Pro Mid-2015 that I had for almost 10 years. I had maxed out the MacOS and performed a battery replacement on that one. Saw this brand new 2023 MacBook Pro and at the price, 43% off retail, I pulled the trigger. Migrated from one to the other with little problem and couldn't be happier.
This M2 chip screams compared to the old one. Everything is snappier, especially Apple Mail that underwent a full rewrite a few MacOS's back. Battery life is outstanding (I was able to get about 15 hours of use over two days without recharging) and the Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports are fantastic with a hub that I use - one USB-C port provides ethernet, HDMI for an external monitor, a scanner, an external keyboard, and a 2TB external hard drive that I use for back up.
Just a beautiful machine that will, hopefully, keep me going for 10 more years:)
