Great replacement speaker value
Bought this to replace a speaker in one of two identical Roland Cube 40gx amps I own. The original speakers are very neutral in sound unlike most guitar amps and that transparent sound is why I own these amps. I knew a normal guitar speaker wouldn’t work and I didn’t want to spend a lot on my back up amp since I run at a very low stage volume. I figured I would have just settle on a speaker that just functioned enough to get me thru a gig if my main amp failed. To my surprise this speaker sounds almost identical to the original speaker in my other amp. Good enough that I won’t hesitate to grab either one. If you need an inexpensive Midrange speaker that you’re not going to drive hard, this sounds good for the money.
