Goodtogo & fit for duty.

I finish all of my triggers by stoning the bow & shoe. The bow is very stiff. The shoe is reasonably straight - as well as high end stuff. The short shoe is a combat feature for quick double shots by allowing more of the trigger finger in a convulsive grip. It also prevents bending of the shoe against the mag release.

When a level two won't do.

This holster has adjustable retention screws and two trigger guard lever locks to retain a pistol. I find it easier to draw from then a standard level two such as with a Fobus (So called level two with a singular trigger guard lever lock - which is weird because it seems to only have one actual retention device.) or Blackhawk (definitely a level two retention holster). The price is right and it accommodates suppressor sights well. The lock levers appear safer as they have more surface area to activate with the entire grasp - as a hole - as apposed to only the trigger finger that can catch a trigger on the draw. The short top/hood makes for a smooth draw and "show cases" a pistol well pursuant to state regulated security (such as in Florida). It fits duty belts too. The advertisements all over the web suggest a smaller belt size, but mine fits my Sam Browne duty belt. I like it a lot. My draw is now incredibly fast without worry about the pistol discharging unintentionally or staying locked from being too careful. There is a increased snag factor so it wouldn't do as well for mobile details, but for a static standing detail it is a huge advantage.

It acts like it's not there while doing the job.

This low profile thread protector allows full cleaning disassembly/reassembly of the barrel from the slide without the need to take it off. After using acetone to clean the threads and a small dot of low strength thread locker, it's good to go. Love it!
