Great upgrade to kit superzoom!
2 of 2 found this helpful While Sigma makes two different version of this lens, i feel that this is a great lens that justifies its price. As someone who enjoys wildlife photography yet is not making a living selling their photos i think the price to performance is perfect. Its a great step up form the kit zoom lenses without spending 2000+ dollars. Yes it might not offer the weather resistance of the "sports" version or other manufactures but for locations i have been to it has held up to what i expected. Overall i am happy with my purchase and i am sure you will too.
