Exceptionally detailed sound
I needed something better than my aging Bose QC2s for doing mixing / EQ work. The Bose are OK. These are truly great. I am hearing levels subtlety that I'd never heard before in both my recordings, and my fairly broad music collection. The optional Bluetooth adapter is also well-designed, and has excellent sound - almost can't tell if I'm using it or a cable. Highly recommend.

Solid, works well.
Seems to be a relatively solid power center. I mounted it in the back of a travel trailer to be able to use additional devices. Works well. Recommend.

Great foundation. Change tube for mellower blues-grade overdrive.
I like a mellower overdrive sound. This product comes shipped with a Bugera 12AX7 tube installed. I thought it was a little shrill, and the gain knob was already spikier than I like at about 1.5. I replaced it with a $14 JJ 12AU7, with about 1/5th the gain, and I am very pleased with the sound. I am getting really great american-style overdrive tones through a Jazz Chorus amplifier. The gain knob is now usable up to about 3.5, and there is a palette available in that range. Best $64 [total] spent on guitar gear ever, I think. Pair this with a volume or clean boost pedal, and you really have something. I have also ordered the BitMo mod [$23 delivered], which should make that gain knob have even greater useable range.
