great information about Palmer and Nicklaus
Most fans of Palmer and Nicklaus will love this book. It is loaded with excellent, detailed, revealing information about both men and about their highly competitive relationship.
There are a few fans -- and I am one of them -- who will be a little distressed to read about some of the human frailties in these beloved sports figures. Some years ago, I met Arnold Palmer, and I will always remember him as the most friendly, charming, natural, instantly-likeable public figure anywhere.

Excellent power conditioning at a low price
I have a Marshall. My house is in a neighborhood built in the late 30s and early 40s -- there is a lot of old wiring in the neighborhood. If someone a block away ran a circular saw while I was playing my guitar, I couldn't hear the saw myself, but noise from the saw would come through the amplifier.
I needed a power conditioner. This Live Wire had great reviews, and it was cheap, so I bought it.
It works perfectly. The saw noise is gone, of course, but also, the sound from the amplifier is far better in a variety of ways -- clearer, brighter, and perhaps even louder.
I stuck four little fabric "feet" from Home Depot on the bottom of the unit. I put it on top of the Marshall. It looks cool there.

simple, powerful, clean, well documented
I am very pleased with this amplifier. I am using it with a Behringer Xenyx X1204 mixer and with JBL JRX212 speakers. So far, I am very pleased with the IPR 1600's clean power and with its simplicity. The online documentation is clear and simple.
