Good product, though not useful for some activities
Quite warm and well-made. OK for some cold-weather outdoor projects and/or activities - but not for others... For example, not the best choice for a work project in a tight place or one that requires a good grip - e.g, picking up and carrying stuff, like wood or machine parts. So, not for everything, but glad I bought 'em. They'll continue to get used.

Too tight for comfort
Bought two Mission Multi-cool headpieces from Lowe's about 5 years ago. (Wore one out and lost the other.) They were great, as the ones available now *might* be, except for one manufacturing flaw -- the elastic at both ends is way too tight. Can actually give me a headache if I wear it for more than about 30 minutes under my bicycle helmet. Also make a crease in the skin of my forehead that goes away only after about 15 minutes. If this happens to you, consider cutting off the elastic bands.
This product review was originally 2 stars and NOT recommended; but I've changed it to 3 stars and recommended - but only if you consider REMOVING the too-tight elastic band if it's too tight for your head.
Note: the fabric does not have a tendency to fray easily.
