Nice! Needed modification!
This light is a great value. I have used three of them on Harley refurb jobs.
The base is plastic which is the same as the FLHT fender trims as opposed to the heavy metal base of the original taillight. That doesn’t concern me.
Every time I had to cut the center of the base out so the contour would match the fenders. Then I used the holes used to secure the lens to the base as the mounting holes for the entire light to the fender.
If your fender has a large hole with a recessed mount, you can mount the light directly to the fender.
I’d buy again!
