Original remote for the DVP-CX985 and 1 solution if it doesn't work
1 of 1 found this helpful The controller works great but there is something you might want to look out for. I couldn't get my controller to work at all and feared it was broken in some way. A reviewer form another site had one possible solution and it worked for me luckily. There is a command mode switch on the back of the unit (DVP-CX985), and under the batteries in the remote, just make sure they are set to the same number, it’s common that the switch gets moved by accident when installing.

Great deal on Mighty Max batteries!
It works great and had no problems installing it. I trust this brand a lot. I had replaced 2 other UPC battery backups and they are working great!

I wouldn't buy another one.
It recognized for about an hour and started to lock up my pc. I even bought another different case for it and another pc and it did the same thing. Now, it is not recognized by anything and has a an error that states : fatal error hardware failure. Stay away from used hard drives.
