Best first helicopter
1 of 1 found this helpful If you want to learn to fly helicopters then this is the one to get, so easy to fly, it seems incredibly durable, it is bouncing off furniture, walls and ceilings. It would only be better if it came with another battery. Definitely dont waste your time with an infrared controlled one, save your pennies and go for this one, you wont regret it.

I am happy
I needed a timer for a project and this one suited nicely. For my project the only way to improve it would be to have a case available.

I got a Lemon
The unit I got suffered from the Servo burn out issue. One of the servos burned out within about 30 seconds, caused the unit to crash. I ended up with a bent tail boom, broken tail plane, wrecked servo. I replaced the servo and now the main motor and the tail motor run backwards. I am going to have to replace the Receiver board and the ESC board as well. I am really not impressed with this unit straight out of the box, I am also disappointed that Bangood has only offered me less than half of what it will cost to replace all of the broken parts, and presently they are out of stock of all the items that I need, my guess because so many are suffering from the same issues. Bangood also wanted me to get the servo tested. I got a servo tester and the dud servo burned that out too. You can see in the phtos the damaged servo internals and damaged servo to receiver board cable which was pinced on the frame.
