Great book
General base knowledge for those leaping from marathons to ultras. Down to earth and an easy enjoyable read, a lot of "oh that's smart" ideas or little tidbits to help make your first ultra more prepared/confident.

Comfortable but snappy
I own the Rincons and the carbon x, I am petite and don't care for a ton of cushioning for my runs except recover runs. I was hesitant to try the Cliftons 6 but am so happy I did. I don't feel sluggish with the amount of cushioning and feel like I can do long runs 20+ miles without my feet/legs being heavy from cushioning. They are a great trainer shoe and probably great for marathons. I am happily surprised with how light weight they are.
