Fell apart within a year
I had the original cover by this company, it isn't soft inside as it has no lining only having a piece of cheap foam to cover the tank. It was waterproof for a while but one summer UV and the winter rain literally destroyed it and it would tear like tissue paper. My two oxford covers are still going strong after 4 years outside so now I wont buy anything else.

Only suitable for thin Steering wheels
This is listed to fit most cars but this is not exactly true. I have a Citroen C3 with a pretty average thickness wheel but this would not clamp around it by miles unless you remove the rubber protection buffer inside the clamp. Even then at a push you can just about clamp it on but then it leaves serious dents in the wheel after removal. I am not too bothered as it is an old car but for something nice it would damage all but the thinnest wheel in my opinion. Couldn't be bothered to send it back due to the cheap price.

Very flimsy construction
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this based on the information in the video on you tube but found that what was shown on there isn't correct compared to the tripod I have. Apart from the whole thing being of very flimsy construction the main issue is the position of the butt cups which on the video show them attached to the lower section legs which would be ideal considering the length of beach rods. I reality the cups can only be attached to the upper legs because the lower legs are too thin for the size of the hole in the clamp which cannot be screwed up enough to hold it tight. This is in fact useless as most of the rod would be above the rest causing it to tip over at the slightest indication of a hooked fish.
