The Timewave is used with a Yaesu FT-1000D that has all of the filters installed. The main use is to remove the random noise; and although not perfect, it makes signal copy possible where it was not possible before. All functions appear to be working except the LP encoder is not responding as expected. It is a used box and the default on pwr-up works fine.

Simple and Cheap. Just what I needed.
Very nice little phone and the price is right!
It has excellent range and plenty of good sound. Can easily be wall mounted or sit on a desk.
There were some minor blems on the base part, but no problems with the function. Expect to charge the battery for several hours to get it working properly.

Nice product after a long installation.
Don't let the good price scare you away. These doors are very well built and have a nice finish. Once you get them on.
Throw away the instructions, they will slow you down. First thing I saw was a picture of the wrong door. The holes were in the wrong place. Anyhow the hinges go on the outside. Next problem, my mirrors didn't fit. The holes were too far forward. And I think these were Jeep oem mirrors. So drill and tap 6 new holes. Finally, there should have been something provided to operate the door switches. But Nooo. So I made some brackets to hit the door switches. Then hang the doors on. Some fiddling with the latches is to be expected...and all done. Only took two days.
Can't complain about the finished product. Looks good and feels solid.

Perfect for my application
I am using this meter to monitor voltage on 12 volt deep cycle batteries for my UPS. It gives me a readout of 1X.000 volts. Last digit being 1 millivolt.
The meter is very stable. The only drawback I can mention is that it did not come with the matching connector which would have made the installation very much easier. I had to solder tiny wires onto the tiny pins and insulate with little tubing.
Overall it is a great value at the price. Thank you.
