Excellent Instrument
Excellent meter. Can directly measure battery resistance & junction capacitances. Uses standard TTL chips for the controller. The FREE manual explains enough to design a new/modern controller if need be. Originally made by Yokogawa the scope people for HP.

Heathkit IP-2718 Triple PS Pros, Cons and Updates.
1 of 1 found this helpful Pros-These are versatile power supplies. They can be tweaked to put out 25V. They have 3 independent power supplies which can be all applied in series or in parallel. They are great value for the money.
Cons-Found that the two 20V PSs output section needs redesign. When the voltage is turned down a driver and output transistor are being stressed. They will fail it's a matter of time. The fix is simple and low cost but needs to be performed.
Look for the design corrections when I get a place to post.
