These are the bulbs I was looking for. Now I can change the two illumination sockets to fit these bulbs and have brighter instrument lighting without changing to LEDs. Instead of using the BA7s bulbs I will be changing the holes in the speedo case to take these BA9S bulbs that are a watt brighter. If you take the speedo apart from your VW type 1 and paint the internals white, the addition of these bulbs will give a brighter reflection and better visibility to the speedo & gas gauge than before

Whirlpool Replacement Microwave Turntable is a perfect fit
It was difficult finding this turntable at a reasonable price. The price from Whirlpool was almost $100, outrageous considering it is made in China.
The price here was more reasonable and it wasn't back ordered like it was from Whirlpool. It fits like the original.

OEM Emergency Flasher Switch Not A Reproduction
This is a used switch. When I ordered it I wasn't sure if the switch knob and escutcheon was coming with it, but it did. I haven't installed it yet so I don't know if it actually works. The VOM tests I have done appear to show it is good but we will see in a few days when I install it in the car.
This is an update on July 1, 2019. I installed the switch making sure all the wires were connected according to the wiring VW wiring diagram. When I turned on the switch nothing happened. The 4-way flashers didn't work but fortunately the directional signals still worked. The switch I bought doesn't do what it was designed to do.
