DUAL BAND 2 METER 144 / 440 MHz 5/8 WAVE NMO MOBILE ANTENNA AMATEUR BANDS

Excellent performance, and good bandwidth.

This is an off brand I never heard of before, so was a little skeptical. Upon receiving the antenna, that skepticism was erased. It is very well built. Performance on UHF was almost exactly the same as the 6" quarter wave. However, on VHF, it outperforms a quarter wave. The real pleasant surprise was this antenna's wide bandwidth. Usually, dual band antennas don't have a very good usable bandwidth, but this one does. Easily covers ham and GMRS and all the 150 MHz. public safety frequencies. I don't have to switch antennas anymore.

Very good quality

Does exactly what it is supposed to - transform 50 ohm line to 450 ohms. Handles 100 watts with ease. Very well made.

Simple, helpful

Looks like a well made cable. The adapter is a cheapy commercially made piece, likely from China. However, if all you need is a simple cable with a female to female adapter to extend your mic, this will do it.
