2 months in and I am already seeing a difference!
3 of 3 found this helpful Admittedly I was skeptical before buying Kirkland but at just under £25 for 6 months I thought I may as well try the product.
Most users of minoxidil say to give the treatment at least 4-6 months before deciding whether the product works for you, and rightly so, you won't see over night results.
In the first 2 weeks of use the product caused my hair to shed more than normal. This is very normal when using a treatment and your hair is not falling out, your follicles are shedding hair and then returning to a dormant phase. There are plenty of explanations and video reviews out there if you want to conduct further research before purchase.
But basically, hair follows a specific growth cycle with three distinct and concurrent phases: anagen, catagen, and telogen phases. Each phase has specific characteristics that determine the length of the hair. All three phases occur simultaneously; one strand of hair may be in the anagen phase, while another is in the telogen phase.
After 1 month of use I purchased a dermaroller to assist with the absorption of the minoxidil topical solution and whilst I cannot claim this has boosted the effectiveness of the minoxidil it does seem to coincide with the results I am seeing at present..
Now, 2 months in I am noticing a significant reduction in shedding when in the shower and I am starting to see the 'peach fuzz' in amongst the rest of the hair on my crown (vertex), midscalp and there is also some indication that the frontal region is starting to show signs that it will thicken.
I am no expert and obviously this is only my experience. Your experience may differ but at such a great price I don't think that there is anything to lose by trying this product for at least 4 months.

Wonderful Water Fountain
1 of 1 found this helpful Just the right size for our new Bengal cat who loves running water. The fountain spout is just the right height for those cats who regularly prefer to drink out of a tall glass as opposed to a conventional bowl.
The constant flow does seem to encourage our cat to drink more water than she did from her old water bowl which, given the warmer weather, must be a good thing.
Its also very quiet to run and the filter and pump mean that the water is kept fresh for days. We find ourselves just having to top it up with a pint glass of water every morning.
I wold highly recommend!
