Rugged and reliable.

I have owned Mini Maglites since they became available. I have one with me almost all the time. They are rugged and reliable They have a great factory warranty. The spare bulb and being able to use it as a candle are nice features. The weak spot is the rotating, on/off, beam focusing switch. It will wear out. Lubrication, as per instructions, will make it last longer.

Helps fix holiday lights quickly

It is not perfect, but it does a pretty good job helping you troubleshoot your holiday lights. When one bulb goes out, the rest are supposed to stay lit. This does not always happen and this device will often find/fix the problem quickly. Occasionally, it does not fix the problem and you have to check each bulb one by one. It will keep you from having to buy new strings of lights when they have failed.
