Better to rewire fixtures for non-ballasted LEDs

I think these lights are fine but it turned out my can light ballasts were going out. I ended up having to rewire the can light fixtures to bypass the ballasts and then buy "non ballast" LED lights. Even though these are good lights I recommend eliminating the ballasts and using standard LEDs.
