TomTom Rider v1
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought the Rider v1 from eBay. Installation on my BMW R1100S was a bit tricky as Beemers don't have handle bars or standard mirror clamps, and I couldn't bring myself to glue it to the dash! So with a few extra bolts and some trial and error, I got it clamp mounted safely on a front fairing support strut, just under the ignition switch housing, and it works great. Bluetooth comms to helmet also worked well pairing with headset and mobile a piece of cake. Even braved the -2oC to test it on the road. The Rider screen is very clear even in the low winter sun. Looking forward to my next long trip. Anyone who wants to mount the Rider to an 1100S I am happy to send pictures of the mounting method used. Thanks,
