Healing - Todd Rundgren (CD 1987)

Like others who have reviewed this disc, I grew weary of the pop-and-hiss character of my old LP. And since the best cuts from this release never appear on any of the Todd retrospective CDs, the only way to fix the problem is to buy the entire CD. It sounds just as good as it did 30 years ago.

The Kinks - Lola vs. Powerman & the Money-go-round

Like: * Remastering is top-flight. * Inclusion of bonus, never-before-released tracks. Dislike: * Nothing Summary: * As this is Kinks' best-ever release, with nary a weak cut, this CD is for everybody, not just die-hard Kinks fans.

Pye Album Collection - The Kinks

Liked: * Packaging. Box + repros of different countries' original cover art = cool. * Discs. Some weren't picked up by US distributor in 60's, now available in US. Disliked: * A couple of early Kinks hits excluded (as they were not on orig Pye releases). * Stopped at Lola, wished it would've included Muswell Hillbillies, too. Reason Bought: * Great/unique Christmas gift for a die-hard Kinks fan. * Note that this product is only recommended for die-hard Kinks fans.
