Needed a ramp for older dog
2 of 2 found this helpful My Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is 11 yrs. old. She is very active but started having trouble jumping into the back of my SUV. The Vet said she didn't want her to jump out of my SUV anymore due to the stress it was causing on her front shoulders. I looked at many ramps but liked the Solvit ramp the best for 5 reasons: 1) economical 2) easily folds in half 3) compact 4) light weight 5) secure sanded surface. Luci has done a lot of agility and all I had to tell her was to climb and she shot up the ramp! Coming down was a no brainer! My Lab uses it also but only because I don't want her to develop any shoulder issues. I'm very happy with the product!
