Cheaper but just as good as the competition.
1 of 1 found this helpful There are other mounts on the market that do the same thing but far more expensive. Considering Hawke are no minor company, as you would expect by their other products, the mounts are no less of high quality.
For the newcomer to shooting (specifically air gun), the mounts do away with the old way way of fitting a shim between the mounts and the scope (Usually a film neg slice or two) to give the required height on clicks at the further distances, where you have reached the full clicks on your turrets and still not getting the height of the reticle on target.
Just be aware that you ensure after adjustment that all bolts and grub screws are tightened or you may find a unexplained shift in your point of impact (POI) and blaming your ammo for the misaligned POI.

Okay for mounting a monitor on your cage or flat bottomed accessory, but don't use it as a cold shoe flash mount, the prongs drop into the M4 screw holes and it's a pain trying to get the flash off again
