Schultz Plant Food
I do not have a green thumb but the Bamboo Plant Food keeps my bamboo plants alive and doing well. The green green bottles take the place of green thumbs. I use it according to directions that are easy to follow.

If new to this, learn by mistakes and stick to it
This was quite a learning curve for me as I had never pieced a Snail Trail. I had to find a way that worked for me. i had to extend the sewing lines for placement as folding did not work for me. For the first three squares I used tape rather than glue to hold the fabric in place. My tape removed easily with no residue. After that I used clips.
