Newest cost-reduced Sonoff: recommended
3 of 3 found this helpful This is the newest version of the Sonoff, using the ESP8265 chip. This limits the memory space, but one can still load the Tasmota/Sonoff arduino project onto it. The plastics have been improved as well, so the LED is easier to align. I recommend

Very small and useful USB load
very consistent current draw; when it arrived, it was calibrated to 1.00 A; fan turns on as needed
