Good strap, Not Burgundy...
It's a reasonably priced strap. The leather is soft . It is BROWN.

Great Strap
I love the feel of the strap and it looks great on my D41. I am however, a bit concerned about the thickness of the strap at the button holes. It seems that with a bit of thought, a more functional and secure connection could be attained. That having been said, this is without a doubt, the is the finest strap that I have ever owned.
