Fits perfectly
Works like OEM product at much smaller price. The perfect substitute for OEM parts.

As fast as any new laptop
1 of 1 found this helpful Heavier than most but durable. Battery life about average, 3-4 hours depending on use. I installed a Kingston SSD and doubled the memory to 8 GB. The L440 will accept an M2 Sata which will be a little faster but allow a much larger HD for data. I also installed Linux Peppermint 8 instead of a more expensive Windows product. Unit was designed for Win8. This machine just flies!. Has the typical Lenovo Quality although the L series does not have the finish of T-series ThinkPads but has a textured plastic surface. Also the touchpad has no buttons like earlier T-series but uses a push plate so that the corners function as the buttons. Takes some getting used to. Has 4 USB ports, more than many Ultrabooks today. Also has •4-in-1 reader (MMC, SD, SDHC, SDXC). Some units may have a Smartcard reader. Not much use unless you need one for reading the cards for encryption, typically for business of the military. Can be used for reading Compact Flash Cards with an inexpensive adapter. Great for increasing storage.

Worked perfectly!
Worked perfectly. Hint: Follow the instructions and read them carefully. I made several mistakes and it was only because I didn't read the instructions carefully enough. Replaced an original Win 7 installations and things run much more smoothly now. Very quick delivery. Best Price!
