Worst of the worst

The idea of a small FM receiver that an feed an external sound system is fantastic. The unit is small and can be powered by most 12 volt wall warts. I purchased mine to feed an existing house sound system. The FM sensitivity is beyond poor. I can get two stations on the unit while a cheap Radio Shack portable radio can get 18 stations sitting just a few feet away. The extending of the built in antenna does nothing. Poor design in my opinion.

Unit sounds good and is easy to install. The only problem is that the FM sensitivity is horrible. You have to be close to the station to get good results. I've purchased two of these units and both FM receivers are poor. Everything else works great.
