Poor instructions, shattered wheel, confused cycles
1 of 1 found this helpful We finally got the room done that this was to go into; however, when I took the box off, I noticed one of the front wheels was shattered, nothing left, useless. Turned it on heat to start warming up the room and a LOT of cold air blew out the back of the machine where the vent hose is supposed to go to vent for the A/C part of the unit. Minimal warm air came out of the vents in the front and the temperature was set at 76. This had ran most of the night and the room was NOT 76 (probably because of the cool to cold air coming out the back), and my daughter in law said she had to empty the water out of the unit as it was full. To warm the air, there needs to be some moisture. The instructions in relation to the heat cycle are nil. It basically tells you how to set to heat and that is it. There was no section on troubleshooting problems with the heat. The vent hose has to be on and vented for the A/C, but does it for the heat? It's a great idea and would be wonderful if it worked and I was able to get a replacement wheel. The reviews were good, did I get a lemon?
