Product failed to meet the advertised specs.
The fan was advertised as able to have a light kit installed but I was unable to find any kit online that would fit this fan model. Product was returned to the shipper for credit.

Careful with diagnosis before ordering a new Mobo.
Easy replacement on a Dell 8700 chassis but apparently the mobo was not the problem. Careful when replacing and make sure you have the correct diagnosis. New board, assuming it was good, did not fix the problem. Some things are better left to experienced techs.
