Works great and easy to use. The ease of use is amplified by my other components, but the CPU by itself is fantastic. CPU of the year.

Not a lot to gripe about here. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. An amazing buy at $189.99 in 2018. Do yourself a favor and go with AMD if you choose to build a PC unless Intel decides to do some groundbreaking stuff in the coming months.
I will admit that- depending on your case and motherboard- the CPU fan is a pain to seat properly onto the CPU. I actually had to wipe off the pre-applied thermal paste and re-apply my own because I could not for the life of me get one of the screws to start, and I ended up messing the stuff that was pre-applied up by trying to re-seat it after pulling it off.. Now that I have experience building, I know that those suckers actually require a good bit of force to mount!
Besides that, installation was a breeze. Once I got everything up and running, I did (light) benchmarks and found out that I have PLENTY of overhead to overclock if I choose to, because my CPU was running at an amazing sixty degrees Celsius- Well within the manufacturer's rated temperature ceiling.
